Volunteer

Volunteering as a photographer is a very rewarding experience.  Race participants truly value the photos they receive.  Volunteers retain ownership of their photos. For each race we like to have 3-5 photographers. One person covers the start and finish and the remaining are out on the course at strategic places to capture great images.  

We currently use Signup Genius  for photographers to volunteer for races.  Many of the 2025 calendar of volunteer spots are published and the remaining will be published as soon as we have confirmation of all race dates and courses.  We also communicate with our volunteer photographers through our Pack Burro Racing Photographers Facebook Group.

Races we have photographed include: Leadville Boom Days, Fairplay Burro Days, Buena Vista Gold Rush Days, Georgetown and Idaho Springs Run Your Ass Off, Creede Donkey Dash, Victor Pack Burro Race, Alder Ass Pack Burro Race, Frederick Miners Day Race, Greenland Open Space, Turquoise Trail Pack Burro Race
